After a very busy year of hard work put in by all of our executive council members as well as our entire membership, the Oregon Animal Control Council was announced as the Outstanding State Association for 2021 by the National Animal Care & Control Association during their yearly awards presentation. This recognition is huge for a small association like ours, as it is based off several factors including number of active members, recent growth, quality of animal care and control programs, training for members and sponsorships for events.
We will continue to provide all of the resources we possibly can to our state’s professionals while performing our duties and hopefully expanding our membership to a level that represents the amount of people who truly fall into the ever-stretching umbrella of Animal Control, Animal Welfare & all related professions.
